Gail

Gail was born in Eufala, AL and was raised in Atlanta, GA, but she has called Colorado home for over 36 years. Gail is the youngest of seven biological siblings and the oldest of six adopted. She accepted Christ as her savior at the age of six and later in her life, recommitted herself to Him as illnesses such as Graves Disease, chronic anemia, and cancer led her to lean on God and trust Him more deeply.

Gail has led a life full of service to others both in and out of the church as a mental health nurse, youth director, children’s director, and school nurse. A desire to return to her education after retirement led Gail to earn a Bachelor’s in Biblical studies from Colorado Christian University, a Master’s in Christian Ministry, a certification in Pastoral Counseling, and a DMIN in Pastoral Counseling.

Gail currently serves in many capacities at Cross Creek including counseling and mentorship as well as leading the Prayer Team. She has also attended several international missions trips with Cross Creek. Gail also leads our Military Women’s Support Group for which God has uniquely equipped her. Military life is in her blood – her late husband was a twenty-two-year Army Warrant Officer and she has numerous family members who have served in the military.

Gail’s life is enriched by the love of her family – her three sons, four grandchildren, her first great-grandson, Jaydon Jr., as well as her companion, a Yorkie Pooh named Prince Sonny. She is also an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys traveling, puzzles, walking, reading, and spending quality time with her loved ones.
