Michael
Michael Haley’s journey into ministry began early, growing up in a pastor’s home where he witnessed the beauty and impact of the local church firsthand. Although born in Colorado, his family moved to Kansas when he was a baby, and it’s where he spent most of his childhood. During his senior year of high school, Michael felt God’s call to follow in his father’s footsteps into full-time vocational ministry while attending a church camp.
Michael met his wife, Misti, during his sophomore year at Baptist Bible College. They married in 1994 and have been blessed with three wonderful children, and two grandchildren. After graduating from BBC in 1995, Michael went on to earn his master’s degree from Liberty University in 2009. Together, Michael and Misti began their ministry journey in 1995, serving as youth pastors in three different churches over 13 years.
In July 2008, God led the Haleys to Fountain, Colorado, where Michael became the lead pastor at Cross Creek Church. Since then, he has faithfully served the church and community with passion and purpose.
Michael’s love for sports, especially college basketball, fuels his loyalty as a devoted Kansas Jayhawks fan. He also enjoys hiking and staying active at the gym. In 2019, he combined his love for the outdoors with his passion for missions by hiking the 244-mile John Muir Trail, raising over $100,000 for MANNA Worldwide. In 2024, Michael summited Mt. Kilimanjaro, helping to raise an incredible $200,000 for MANNA projects in Kenya, Ethiopia, and the U.S.
An accomplished author, Michael has written seven books, including three beloved children’s books. His ministry, adventures, and creative works reflect his dedication to making a lasting impact for God’s glory.
